Dental Implants

Dental implants are a modern, long-term solution for tooth replacement. An implant is a small titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. The implant acts as a strong and stable base on which the denture, crown or bridge is fixed. Dental implants mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth, offering both an aesthetic and practical solution.

Why choose a dental implant?

Natural Appearance and Function: implants mimic natural teeth, providing both an aesthetic and practical solution.

Long Lasting Solution.

Boosts Confidence.

Bone Preservation: implants help to preserve the structure of the jawbone, preventing bone loss that can occur when teeth are missing.

Why choose ceramic implants?

In our clinic, we prefer to use ceramic dental implants because of their many advantages over traditional titanium implants. Ceramic implants are made of a biocompatible material, zirconia, which is exceptionally strong, aesthetically pleasing and body-friendly.

Here are some reasons why ceramic implants are a great choice:

1. Natural appearance
Ceramic implants are tooth-coloured, blending in perfectly with surrounding teeth, especially in the front teeth area.

2.Hypoallergenic material
Zirconia is biocompatible and does not cause allergic reactions, making it well suited for people with metal allergies.

3.Better Gum Health
The smooth surface reduces bacterial attachment and the risk of inflammation, helping to keep gums healthy.

4. Strength and Durability
Ceramic implants are extremely strong and durable, providing a permanent solution.

5. Metal-free option
Ceramic implants are metal-free, an ideal choice for those who prefer a natural and holistic approach.

Miks eelistada keraamilisi implantaate?

Meie kliinikus eelistame kasutada keraamilisi hambaimplantaate nende mitmete eeliste tõttu võrreldes traditsiooniliste titaanist implantaatidega. Keraamilised implantaadid on valmistatud biokompatibelsest materjalist, tsirkooniumoksiidist, mis on erakordselt tugev, esteetiline ja kehasõbralik.

Siin on mõned põhjused, miks keraamilised implantaadid on suurepärane valik:

1. Loomulik välimus
Keraamilised implantaadid on hammaste värvusega, sulandudes ümbritsevate hammastega ideaalselt, eriti esihammaste piirkonnas.

2. Allergiavaba materjal

Process

Initial consultation: the dentist will assess the overall health of the mouth and jaw structure by taking X-rays and 3D scans to determine the suitability of implant placement.

Surgical placement: The implant screw is surgically inserted into the jawbone. The implant is surgically implanted and the titanium screw fuses with the bone over time, providing a solid base for the prosthesis or crown.

Healing period: The integration of the titanium screw and jawbone usually takes 3-6 months, during which time a temporary crown may be used if necessary.

Final restoration: After final integration, a crown, bridge or prosthesis is attached to the implant to match the natural teeth in both appearance and function.

Aftercare and Checks: Regular oral hygiene and dental check-ups will help to ensure the long-term successful use of the implant.

Operating head: accurate and safe implant placement

A surgical cap is a special aid that is made to fit your jaw and teeth anatomy using digital scans. It guides the dentist through the implant placement process, ensuring that the implant is placed in the most appropriate and secure position. The surgical head allows for accurate and rapid placement, minimising the risk of complications and ensuring the best possible result.
